I have been in the real estate business since 2004 both as an agent and as a brokerage owner. Before settling in State College I grew up in Southern Pennsylvania in the small town of Hanover, PA. I went to Spring Grove High School and after high school I joined the Army as a Blackhawk Helicopter Crewchief to serve my country. I spent time at Fort Campbell, KY, South Korea, and Fort Drum, NY as well as some time in Central America for disaster relief after Hurricane Mitch in 1998. My time in the Army taught me the value of hard work and that if you do your best good things will happen.
After the Army I moved to State College to attend Penn State University. One of my first classes was a real estate class and I fell in love. I originally started working part-time at RE/MAX doing desktop publishing for flyers, postcards, etc with my office next to the copy machine. After a year of doing that I decided to get my real estate license while I finished my degree. I had originally intended on going to law school to become a real estate attorney. When it came time to graduate I decided that I didn’t want to leave Happy Valley. I thought this was a great place to live and had made a lot of great friends here so I decided to jump into real estate full-time in 2005.
In 2015 I had the opportunity to become one of the owners of RE/MAX Centre Realty with some other great colleagues. I’m very proud of the company we’re building and the service we provide to agents and clients both.
I’v previously served as the District 8 Vice President for the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors. I've also served on the Legislative Committee and the Standard Forms Committee for Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS. I wasone of only 3 Realtors to serve back to back terms as the Centre County Associaiton of Realtors President.
I live in Bellefonte with my wife Stephanie and our two dogs, Hayden and Lola. We enjoy travelling, great food, and competitive shooting.
