Biography

A lifetime resident of Salt Lake City, Utah, Robert Farnsworth has dedicated his career to serving others. In 1984 Robert began selling real estate, and by 1990, became a broker. Throughout the years he continued his education in the real estate field by earning his CSP, CRS and GRI designations, and becoming a REALTOR® with the National Association of REALTORS®.

Recognized in the real estate industry as a leader, Robert has served on the Board of Directors for the local, state and national REALTOR® Associations, and on the Wasatch Front Regional Multiple Listing Service Board of Directors. Robert received the REALTOR Active in Politics Award in 2000 by the Utah Association of REALTORS. In 2003, Robert was President of the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS®, and received their REALTOR® of the year award in 2005. Robert was honored in 2006 with the Broker/Manager of the year award from RE/MAX Mountain States Region and in 2017 received the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. In 2019 Robert was honored with the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS Top 500 / Hall of Fame, The Utah Association of REALTORS Presidents Award and was recognized as the #1 Commercial RE/MAX agent in Utah.

Robert’s expertise in real estate, finance, contracts, marketing and negotiating has resulted in the cultivating and mentoring of many new agents during his career. His innovative marketing ideas and proactive approach to business have been the foundation for his success in real estate.
