Meet Steven, a native Texan whose journey to success began in humble beginnings in East Texas. He grew up with two older brothers and quickly learned the art of persuasion to get what he wanted. At just 15 years old, he discovered his passion for sales and started his own successful lawn business to fund his dreams of racing in the Dirt Track circuit. After seven years of hard work and dedication, Steven set his sights on getting a degree in occupational safety, which he worked hard to earn while supporting himself as a personal trainer.
During his time as a personal trainer, Steven was introduced to the world of new home sales by one of his clients. He reached out to the builder he had previously worked with and was given the opportunity to sell homes, which ultimately led him to meet the love of his life, Lena Maslennikova. Seeking greater opportunities, Steven and Lena moved to the DFW area where Steven began his work in new home sales with a top builder in the industry.
After claiming the Rookie of the Year title in his first year, Steven decided to become a full-time real estate agent. He has been in the top 5% of the industry ever since. In 2008, during the economic downturn, Steven's business was greatly impacted. However, he used this as an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of flipping houses, buying and renovating 100+ homes. He has experienced both success and setbacks, but has always remained resilient and determined to succeed no matter the market conditions.
