Scott Hughes brings over 30 years of commercial real estate expertise spanning brokerage, joint ventures, development, and property/asset management, with cumulative transactions exceeding $1 billion.

Throughout his career, Scott has worked with top private and public brokerages, earning national production awards. As a franchisee broker/owner, he received accolades like Canada’s Top Commercial Team Award, the Worldwide Commercial Team Award, and Broker/Owner of the Year.

Scott has facilitated the sale, acquisition, and leasing of Alberta’s hallmark assets, including development land, apartments, industrial buildings, office complexes, and retail centers. His diverse expertise extends to structuring joint ventures, redeveloping asset classes, directing property management services, and managing financing for various projects. This broad skill set enables him to provide clients with strong business acumen tailored to their real estate needs.

Scott holds an MBA from Royal Roads University and commercial real estate designations including AACI (Appraisal Institute of Canada), CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member), and SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors). His professional affiliations include NAIOP, BOMA, CREW, ICSC, and BILD.

A passionate sports enthusiast, Scott has competed in the Alberta Bodybuilding Championships and completed an Ironman. He enjoys working out, mentoring, traveling, and spending time with family and his energetic grandsons.

Committed to giving back, Scott supports social housing initiatives, helping create solutions for low-income and homeless individuals. He’s also collaborated with the Province of Alberta to ensure transparent governance practices for the region’s largest housing crown corporation.
