Biography

As a Northwest Indiana region native of Valparaiso, I really enjoy introducing buyers to all our fantastic communities near Chicago off the southern shores of Lake Michigan. As Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Lifestyles, I have several years of brokerage management experience, and over 14 years experience brokering homes, land, investment property and commercial property in the Northwest Indiana REALTORs Association (NIRA) MLS region.

Being actively involved with buyer and seller clients, and running a top performing team and brokerage is my passion. We consult with our seller clients to assess the market, compare it to their property, price it right, get under contract, and manage the transaction through closing. We have a fantastic connection list of resources, from home inspectors to lenders to contractors and more. The Matt Evans Team consistenly places in the top 1% of all agents in Northwest Indiana. Among Indiana RE/MAX agents/teams, we place in the Top 40 in residential and recently placed as the #2 Commercial Broker. I'm proud to be a recent RE/MAX Broker/Owner of the Year, RE/MAX Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement Member, and have earned levels of recognition awards up through Chairman's Club. We can only do this with hundreds of amazing clients we've had the pleasure of working with over the years.

I'm personally involved in charitable giving and service on various boards such as The Greater Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce, Valpo Schools Foundation, Valpo Parks Foundation, Valparaiso Rotary Club, and as President of the City of Valparaiso Plan Commission. But most important is my whole family, including my wife and kids, who truly make my life a fantastic experience.
