Joshua Moreno is an accomplished sales executive with a proven track record in the real estate industry. As the leader of a sales team at RE/MAX Advance Realty, he specializes in assisting private clients and companies with selling commercial real estate, focusing on investment sales of industrial properties in Florida. Being a Miami native, Joshua has an in-depth understanding of the local market, allowing him to provide valuable insights and expertise to his clients. His fluency in both English and Spanish enables him to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
In his past career, Joshua served 4 years in the Florida Department of Corrections, starting at the age of 19. He was the class leader of the graduating class of DC 183 and top marksman. He worked at a max security prison where his main roles included supervising the solitary confinement unit, K-9 unit, and riot squad. Joshua often oversaw the operations of the prison, which housed an inmate population of 1,500 men and generated an estimated $50mm in annual revenue.
After leaving the prison, Joshua saw the grave need to guide and empower the youth before they ended up in prison, as most of the inmates came from troubled backgrounds. Coming from a low-income, single-parent household himself, Joshua could relate to their struggles.
Joshua is deeply involved in his community, dedicating time as a mentor with Big Brother Big Sister, a non-profit organization that offers 1-to-1 mentorship to children, primarily from low-income, single-parent households, and at-risk backgrounds. In his personal life, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and his beloved rescue dog, Hachi, as well as swimming in the ocean and training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Joshua is an active BJJ competitor and proudly completed the Ironman triathlon in 2022, a grueling 140.6-mile endurance race. This achievement underscores his incredible dedication, discipline, and drive, qualities that he brings to every aspect of his life.
