Biography

I was born and raised in the Midwest. In the early 80's, I relocated to Georgia. This is where my husband and I raised our family. In the late 90's, I felt a calling for service. The Gwinnett County Police Department was hiring radio dispatchers, so I joined the ranks. Several years later, I became a Gwinnett County Sheriff's Deputy, and in 2018 retired after 21 years of service. After retiring, my husband and I moved to the north Georgia mountains. I became a Realtor, so I guess you could say, I'm not really retired, just serving the community in a different way. My children are all grown, and my grand babies are the light of my life. My wonderfully supportive husband is one of the medevac helicopter pilots for Union General Hospital, and is also retired law enforcement. We enjoy life in the mountains!
