Biography

With over 20 years of experience in the Edmonton region, Tish Prouse brings a unique blend of leadership, vision and knowledge to RE/MAX Commercial Capital.

Having a passion for human activity and environmental history, Tish received his Masters in Archaeology from University College London and worked as a supervisor on excavations in the Levant, Anatolia, and Central Asia areas for close to a decade. The concepts of historical preservation, historical construction materials and methods, sensitivities in historical landscapes, as well as cultural integration and community engagement are paramount to the world of real estate. Such projects in Edmonton alone, have generated over $400 million in investor returns.

Working in Alberta as a surveyor and archaeologist, this has allowed Tish to become intimately familiar with raw land development and boundary laws, environmental processes, conservation regulations, and the Crown-corporation-private landowner trichotomy. Tish is also fluent in several languages, and has been part of significant indigenous-stakeholder relations.

As an established property owner and investor, Tish has extensive knowledge in mixed-use commercial, multi-unit residential, raw land, and commercial development properties. His own projects have helped improve the perception of their neighbourhoods among local residents, and been the catalyst for adjacent owners to improve their property and renew business ventures in Edmonton. Tish offers hands-on leadership and is generating results of positive change for the community. He is a strong advocate for bringing practical and applicable solutions to invigorating community cohesion and participation in local development and investments.
