Biography

Richard McKinney is the Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Gold, overseeing two successful offices in Port St. Lucie, Florida. With a real estate career spanning over 25 years, Richard is one of South Florida's most seasoned professionals in both residential and commercial real estate. Under his leadership, his team has sold and leased over $1 billion in real estate.

Richard's journey in real estate began in 1998 with a focus on investment properties, rehabs and property flips. After relocating from Atlanta, he quickly established himself in the Florida market, embracing the core values of hard work, belief, and determination—principles that have been the foundation of RE/MAX’s success for over five decades. His company now includes over sixty experienced professionals, including his elite personal sales team of ten. Richard's accomplishments have earned him numerous accolades, including induction into the prestigious RE/MAX Hall of Fame and the Pinnacle Club Team Award. His team is ranked as the #1 RE/MAX team in Florida and one of the top 20 teams in North America.

Richard's extensive expertise covers a wide range of real estate transactions, including residential, land, foreclosures, short sales, commercial properties, property management, and business and government listings. As a leader, coach, and trainer he has helped and mentored hundreds of agents in their careers.

In addition to his professional achievements, Richard is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He actively supports various charitable organizations, donating both his time and a portion of his commissions to causes such as the Children’s Miracle Network, local youth organizations, and the Nicholas Children’s Hospital.

On a personal note, Richard is married to his wife, Pamela, and together they have three children, two stepdaughters, and one granddaughter. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and boating along the beautiful rivers and waterways of the Treasure Coast.
