Biography
Originally from Ridgewood NJ, Rebecca traversed the lower 48 also living in Nashville TN, and New Orleans LA. She received an Associate's Degree from Bergen Community College before transferring to the Business School at Montclair State University. Opportunity knocked when she was offered a job as a fit model for Victoria’s Secret catalog, she owned and operated an ice cream truck, and was the owner/operator of the successful coffee house Beantowne Gourmet in Allendale NJ for five years, all while continuing to model. She then decided to continue her schooling and earned a BA in Creative Writing from SUNY Empire State. Rebecca migrated to Warwick NY 15 years ago, when her older son was about to enter kindergarten. After seeing hundreds of houses, she found a converted barn that she fell in love with and that was it! Rebecca has a passion for old and unique properties, and a fixer-upper fills her with joy. She is an avid “Do It Yourselfer,” who devours home repair and remodeling projects. Most recently she embraced the challenge of converting a seasonal Bungalow into an energy efficient sanctuary. She loves working with people who have a sense of adventure and aren’t afraid of properties that are “unusual ”.... In the current market, move-in-ready homes can be hard to come by. Rebecca believes that more distressed properties that offer infinite potential and are well worth consideration. She's uniquely qualified to help those sellers market their homes by exploiting the possibilities. The current market can be very difficult for buyers, especially for first-time buyers who may not be in a position to purchase a move-in-ready “dream home.” Rebecca can help them envision what a fixer-upper can become. Her handiness, combined with her experiences buying and selling her own real estate, led her to transition to her current career.
