Biography
I live by the slogan, "Do unto others as you will have them do unto you", therefore, I strive to provide an optimum customer service experience! Client care is the foundation of a successful business that will continue to award itself over and over with loyal customers. I have been licensed as a Realtor in the state of Illinois for 18 years. Formally, as a General Manager with The Habitat Company Property Management Company located in Chicago. I was responsible for the day to day operations for seven(7), Chicago Housing Authority owned senior properties throughout the north side of the city. I bring more than 16 years of Property Management experience in managing the operations in affordable housing. Working directly with the Chicago Housing Authority, I developed an expertise in leasing affordable housing apartments and maintaining assets in the City of Chicago. Prior to my role as General Manager, I held the position of the Leasing and Occupancy Manager and was instrumental in changing how the housing authority leased and marketed their properties. Overseeing the leasing and occupancy requirements for 10 years for more than 5,500 public housing apartments. I contributed to the highest occupancy rates among all CHA Private Property Management Companies during my tenure as the Leasing and Occupancy Manager.
With a passion for superior customer service, managing housing in Chicago has contributed to my continued success in providing a higher level of affordable housing living for all Chicagoan's. Finally, I hold a BA in Political Science from Southern University and A&M College with a Broker’s License in the State of Illinois. I am also a Certified Occupancy Specialist, Senior Housing Specialist, Tax Credit Specialist, and a PHA Rent Calculation Certification. I'm always excited to make a renter into a owner!
