Founder & Janitor | RE/MAX Commercial Real Estate Advisors
Charles Patawaran, CCIM, is the Founder and Janitor of RE/MAX Commercial Real Estate Advisors, the first commercial-only RE/MAX office in Texas, headquartered in Houston’s Galleria district. With a background spanning commercial brokerage, SBA-backed financing, and mergers & acquisitions advisory, Charles is recognized for structuring complex transactions across multiple commercial asset classes.
Charles specializes in investment sales, owner-occupied commercial real estate, and healthcare-related properties, including assisted living facilities, medical office buildings, hotels, retail centers, and mixed-use assets. His advisory approach integrates real estate strategy with business fundamentals—often combining acquisition advisory, financial analysis, and capital structuring to deliver full-cycle solutions for clients.
Prior to launching RE/MAX Commercial Real Estate Advisors, Charles successfully exited a healthcare business in a seven-figure transaction and built a reputation for executing SBA 7(a)-financed acquisitions nationwide. He has advised physicians, healthcare operators, entrepreneurs, private investors, and family offices on transactions ranging from first-time acquisitions to multi-asset portfolio strategies.
A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Charles is deeply committed to education, mentorship, and raising the standard of professionalism within the commercial real estate industry. Under his leadership, RE/MAX Commercial Real Estate Advisors is aggressively expanding its footprint across Texas while building specialized advisory teams focused on retail, hospitality, healthcare, and investment sales.
Charles is known for his hands-on leadership style and his belief that disciplined execution, financial literacy, and long-term relationships are the foundation of durable success in commercial real estate.
