Born and raised in the lush green vibes of Eugene, Oregon, Desiree Carlson traded her rain boots for flip-flops when she made the sunny leap to Florida in 2023—and hasn’t looked back (except maybe when it’s 98 degrees with 98% humidity).

Desiree graduated high school in 2009 and jumped straight into property management in 2010, where she sharpened her skills in people-wrangling, lease-lingo fluency, and late-night maintenance emergencies. After taking some well-deserved time off to raise her daughter Kaidyn (a future CEO, no doubt), she switched gears and managed a coffee shop—because who doesn’t love caffeine and chaos? For five years, she balanced lattes and leadership, customer service and community building.

In 2018, she welcomed her son Kiernan to the family, and in 2023, she and her husband made the bold (and slightly sunburned) decision to move cross-country. With her husband landing a dream role in agricultural management in Lake Wales, they put down roots in beautiful Winter Haven—where the lakes are plenty and the real estate dreams are just waiting to be made reality.

Desiree took her years of experience, love of people, and obsession with HGTV, and made the leap into real estate. Starting at a boutique brokerage gave her the personal touch and deep understanding of the market, but as her business grew, so did her goals—leading her to join RE/MAX in 2025.

Today, Desiree blends her Oregon authenticity with Florida hustle to help buyers and sellers navigate the market with ease, humor, and heart. Whether you’re buying your first home, upgrading, downsizing, or just need someone to explain the difference between “pending” and “under contract,” she’s your go-to guide with a smile (and probably a coffee in hand).
