My name is Dean Whitten, and I’m a real estate agent proudly serving the beautiful state of Maine. I was born and raised in Portland. Growing up, I spent countless hours at my mother’s preschool, The Back Cove School, a place that taught me the true value of community, connection, and caring for people. Being surrounded by families and educators for so many years helped me build strong, long-lasting relationships across Portland and beyond—relationships that continue to guide the way I work with clients today. Outside of real estate, I’m someone who finds joy in the simple things that make Maine special. I love spending time with friends and family, and sports have always been a huge part of my life—especially hockey, which I grew up playing since I was a kid. When I’m not working or at the rink, you’ll often find me outdoors. I love exploring the back roads and woods of Maine, taking scenic drives, fishing wherever I can drop a line, and soaking in the beauty of this state I call home. I’m also a big fan of country music, which pairs perfectly with any late-night drive or quiet day by the water. One of my biggest companions is my Australian Shepherd, Princeton, who shares my love for adventures. Whether we’re taking long car rides, exploring new trails, or swimming in Maine’s lakes and rivers, he’s always up for the journey.
