Amy Mendez is a seasoned real estate executive whose career spans four decades of leadership, development, and market innovation. She began her professional journey in commercial real estate leasing in Columbus, Ohio, in 1986, managing shopping centers and office properties throughout the Midwest before relocating to Florida in 2001. There, she expanded her expertise into master-planned community development, large-tract land sales, and luxury condo-hotel projects with top-tier developers.
Amy later served as Director of Builder Services at a major downtown Orlando RE/MAX brokerage during the height of the condo conversion boom, where she oversaw multiple sales centers and collaborated closely with residential developers on complex, high-volume projects. After earning her broker’s license, she founded her own Orlando-area brokerage, building and mentoring high-performing agents through a leadership style centered on integrity, motivation, and authentic relationship-building. Many of those agents went on to become consistent million-dollar producers.
Her leadership extended into large-scale residential development when she became instrumental in the completion of a resort-style manufactured home community, overseeing the construction of more than 300 homes while mentoring a dedicated sales team. Amy later brought that experience to Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast, working with a well-capitalized, resident-focused developer specializing in 55+ communities, gated neighborhoods, and resort-style living.
Today, Amy leads The Sea-Gals, an elite, women-led real estate team known for results-driven performance, client advocacy, and operational excellence. With a reputation for strategic insight, hands-on leadership, and a deep understanding of both people and markets, Amy Mendez continues to shape and elevate the Florida real estate landscape.
